The Scott Township Fire District consists of three fire companies, the Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department, the East Carnegie Volunteer Fire Department and the Glendale Hose Company #1. We operate out of three fire stations, strategically located within Scott Township Municipality in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The Scott Township Fire District was formed in 2009. The district currently has 90 active volunteers and responds to an average of 725 calls a year. The members of this district average over 5,500 hours in training each year.

The Scott Township Fire District responds to fire and emergency calls twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year. The well-trained and dedicated members of these fire departments SELFLESSLY and VOLUNTARILY serve our community in a professional manner!
